| Content: | This paper describes the deep soil improvement for the Maeslant Barrier using the ICE 1412V Vibratory hammer. Soils were compacted from el – 17.5 to el – 5.00 m N.A.P. The soil improvement resulted in an increase in cone resistance of 100%. |
